The Affordable Care Act does bring about lively conversation and extreme pros and cons on both sides.
It is difficult to determine the true facts. According to Pope, (2014) the President’s health care reform represents a concerted attempt to prevent competition in various aspects of health insurance—including health benefits, provider networks, and cost.
In the process, the law has become a fountain of federal regulation. The law adds to numerous regulatory items that contain the damage of the anticompetitive policies.
Pope, (2014) believes that the lack of competition leads integrated health care providers to be irresponsive to the needs of their patients and become reliant on bureaucracy to prevent spiraling costs.
